expectancies, unpredictabilities?

You know what?

I watched this movie yesterday. Yes, the movie above. The Legend of the Fist.

How in the world could I have watched that movie? Oh yes, I would never have opted for it either. You know me right? I'll never go for such movies in the cinema. Well yeah, I'm a lil picky sometimes. =P

But yesterday was really spontaneous. I decided we go for that movie actually. Yes, it was all my idea. Ditched watching Date Night/Vampires Suck/Titanic and chose The Legend of the Fist instead.

And seriously, I watched it.

Epic, ain't it?

And for that particular reason, I treasure that ticket I bought. HAHA
Weird.

The movie was indeed, nice. I mean, the storyline and values and it was really really awesome if not for the fact that I am a so-not-into-violence person. Really, you asked me how it was, I sincerely told you it was awesome.

But one thing, I cried. I cried watching this movie. I cried watching a violent/action pack movie. How any stranger can it be? Or I should say, how much weirder can I be man?! Oops, my bad.

I cried because of the brutal and ruthless violence. Idk why I reacted that way either. Weird, ain't it? Hmm, no comment. Yeah, someone even suggested we leave the cinema then. But no, I wanted to watch it till the end then. Firstly, I paid for it man! =P Well not really the reason though. You wanted to watch it so badly and yes, I'll watch it through too. =)

And you know what?

I was suspected of being underage! Oh yes, the first time I gotta be checked for my IC. Epic? The one who is ineligible passed the 'customs', the one who is so obviously* eligible got checked for her IC. *not so obviously actually due to height issues. Heck!

Oh well, idk whether I should call it a great eye-opener or a mental tortured hour. =P
I'll watch it again though, if you want to. =)

Oh well, Donnie Yen. He really is a permanent imprint in my life now.

movie buff Sundays

I like being media literate. And I do hope I really am media literate by now. =D

Like I said, Sundays are usually dull for me. I mean, not that I make it dull but I just do not know what to do! LOL
But yeah, thankfully this week's Sunday has been awesomely occupied usefully. =) I hell am proud of myself. =D

Oh yes, I had um, lemme see, 3 movies watched today! =D Well not exactly, it's more like, 2 and a half movies. LOL

Aha! Date Night! =D I actually downloaded it wayyy before the mid term exams and since it was THE pre-exam and exam weeks, I couldn't even watch it. So, yeah. Yesterday was THE day. =D

Whoever who hasn't watched it yet, PLEASE DO SO! It really is funny I tell you. I was like, laughing to myself with my headphones on and looking like someone from the laughing asylum. Alright, I don't reckon there's such a place. Well that's the point right? Some alien. =P

Awhh, date night. =)

And next, Devil.

Ahh, sucks big time. I mean, it doesn't really suck la but it was dreadfully boring. No, I am serious. And yes, I know, it's a horror movie. But that's the thing, it doesn't feel like a horror movie. Or maybe it's because of the uber poor quality that I've downloaded. But really, it's almost all darkness I see most of the time and no, it's really not that scary, apart from the scene where that anxious-turned-creepy old lady who sorta suddenly emerged behind the remaining guy. Well, there's lotsa maybes I guess. Maybe because I didn't watch it in the cinema, maybe that's why I wasn't living the cinematic ambiance, maybe this, maybe that. Whatever. I'm just grateful I didn't waste 10 bucks to GSC. Oops =P

Good I watched it though. =)

And lastly, TOY STORY 3!!! =D

Note the date. It shows, June 18. Dude, what's the date today?!?! HAHAHA

Have I mentioned I am totally in love with Disney's movies? No? Alright, I just mentioned it. =)

Oh, we've been wanting to watch it ever since it was released MONTHS ago. But nonetheless, I've downloaded it now. I watched it, and so will you. =)
So many more toys, so many more dramas and so much more romance. Awhhh =)
And the teary part at the end, awhh, I almost cried. =') Oh yes, and scenes that made me laughing out loud to myself all over again and having mum said that I'm so silly. =P

Apart fro, Devil, it seems like I'm sorta outdated as well huh? HAHA. Who cares? I still wanna watch them and I absolutely enjoy them big time. =D

Grown ups, Alice in the wonderland and Cop out coming soon! =D
Oh, and probably Eat Pray Love. Mum requested for it. And you know what? Bro said it was Eat Pray Sleep. LMAO!!!

addiction proven =P

I was outta Facebook for the past few days. =D *MAJOR THUMBS UP!!!*

No seriously, I really did that okay? See how UN-addicted I am to Facebook??? =P
This is so the third-person effect. Yes, IMCOMM's influence in my life. Awhhh!

But now, I'm back to it again. Oops, my bad. =P

Facebook kills my social life. NOT!

the products of mid-sem exams

Exams, stress, HYPER! =D *Idk whether I was ever in any modes of stress.* =P

But you know what? Mid-term exams are over! Oh wait, Malaysian Studies! Seriously man, it's such a spoiler la! Why can't we just finish the exams once and for all this week la? It's soooooo distressing! Urgh! And now, it's been postponed AGAIN to 6th October. No, I seriously am distressed by it. Okay, now I'm in the stress mode. What theeeeee?

Anyway, the products of mid-sem exams.

US!!!

Too bad Aubrey and Kye weren't there to join us. =(

Me, Kuan, Chloe and Ann went to Sunway Pyramid after exams. Shhhhh =P Too bad the food was such a disappointment. Major NO-NO to that cafe ever again for food except for desserts.   And also, the intention of Ann cutting hair ended up the four of us got our hair cut too. HAHAHA

Thumbs up to A Cut Above's Cutathon. XD

And yes, today was just like chocolate. =D

Dude, blissful la! =D
Well, apart from the part where we had to search high and low for Chocolate Lounge until our legs gave ways almost instantly. Oh, exhausted. And not forgetting the major headache I had. Oh well, maybe it's not that blissful after all.

Um, or I should probably just look at the blissful side. =D
Selective attention (IHC 2010)

Modified referencing skills. =P

And I am so not gonna do any kinds of revision tonight. =)
Oh believe me, I won't.

some spices in life means so much

A gathering/farewell party planned so much earlier had turned out to be so much more unexpected.

Oh well, I thought me and Pui Sing were the only ones from Cochrane attending but like I said, it turned out there were many others who came too. Oh, including Fitri! HAHAHAHA
But too bad, they came so much later and we just couldn't wait any longer than we already had.

But nonetheless, it was great. Great that we get to see each other again after SOOOOOO LONGGGGGG! Great that we finally made it to her house in Seri Kembangan after 2 hours of continuous driving. I tell you, 2 hours of continuous driving is strenuous. =/

And plain tiring! My eyes were like, half closed already man! With the scorching hot sun rays shooting down on us and the petrol depleting slowly with me consciously noticing it! Awhh, heartaches. Yes, have I mentioned that it literally crushes your heart when you are aware of the decreasing petrol indicator??? Oh, how it hurts. ='(

My heart aches for the petrol I paid for every week.

Literally, okay?

Anyway, everything turned out to be, um, not really smooth but thank God we made it. And thank God she's safe. Oh well, something unexpected happened and it was really a spoiler for the day. But everything was well in the end. =)

After that, me and Pui Sing even went to Jusco Equine Park to makan. Thought we would have some satisfying McD for idk-breakfast-or-lunch-or-tea-break *we hadn't taken our PROPER breakfast/lunch yet =/* but there was no McD INSIDE that Jusco. There was a drive-thru one outside though. But she told us there is McD inside Jusco and I parked in there already. Oh well, ended up eating spaghetti at Baker's Cottage instead of at Secret Recipe.

You know what, I always end up eating expensive food whenever with Pui Sing. Right right, Loke Pui Sing? Oh, how we enjoyed ala carte cakes in Legend Hotel after going to the edu fair at PWTC. And we barely had enough to pay for them! HAHAHAHA

Epic =P

But thankfully, those spaghettis weren't that costly la. XD And yes, everything seems awesomely delicious when you're awfully famished. Just like we did.

And that was the best lemon tea I ever had. *referring to what I just said =P*

And now, I know where she lives. =D Oh, I just love having her as my friend. <3
*hugs*
=)

The pinkie girl who'll be leaving for Cairo next monday aka tomorrow night for studies. Awh, I'll miss you dearly. See you in Twitter/Facebook. *wink*

Best of luck to her and may God bless her always. =)

We love you!!!

you're the missing essence

Some updates here. Gee, see how busy *productive =P* I've been lately? All thanks to assignments. Yeah, assignments, assignments and more assignments. Never getting a break from it.

But thankfully, IHC and ECS assignments have already been submitted and it's only IMCOMM left now. Ha! Awesome me, I've done that *almost finished* a couple of weeks ago. =D Damn, of course I am happy!

So guess what?

On Monday, I went to kk's BBQ at his house. Thanks so much for not replying my message when I asked about his house address and ending up getting it from Wai Seng instead. Oh yes, and wasted some time trying to locate his house. And there was I thinking that it would be a loud and huge party with lots and lotsa people but then when I drove passed his house, I wasn't so sure I was at the right place though. =P But yeah, drove passed it again and confirmed it was his house then.

Um, not many of them though. At least, not as many as I expected. But nonetheless, it's nice to see them again, after SOOOOOO LONGGGGGGG! =D

Nice setting up the fire. I didn't help with that though; the scouts should do it right?

Psst, I was a scout. =P

And we helped with the skewers and food.

The salads were tantalizing! Oh yes they were. The um, vege salad and the mango salad. You know, the Thai style mango salad. Seriously, scrumptious! Hmmmm~ =D
And kk made it seemed like I was the only one who eats the salad cause I wanna go on a diet! What theeeee? Salads are awesome! XD

And yes, I spared my hands sparkling clean for I have assistance for helping me to skewer chicken. =D Oh yes, 2 pieces of chickens without me DIY-ing. =P Awesome people. HAHA
So kk's dad and Abg Wai Seng skewered me 2 pieces of chicken! =D Yummy!

Too bad we didn't think any pictures together la. Blame it on me, my bad. I left quite early though. Such a spoilsport I was, rushing home just for Gossip Girl. Oops, my bad. =/

Anyway, it was nice of kk to invite me and great to meet them all again. Awhh =)
I seriously miss high school mates. =')

Awesome night, people. =)

And on Tuesday, oh, feeling so noble already now. XD
Guess what?

I donated blood! =D

*excessively HYPER!*

My second time. I just love that feeling you know. Don't ask me bout it, I have no clue whatsoever why. Too bad Aubrey couldn't make it with me. She's just nice 45 kg even though she has stuffed herself with food the night before and McD that morning. HAHA. Too bad for you =P

Next time la =P

Deyy, my blood flowed soooooo awfully slow this time man! It was like, rapidly flowing last year! Kinda tersumbat somewhere huh? LOL
And you know what? The nurse said my vein was too thin. Wait, you call it thin? Um, small in size? As in, its diameter. Wait, the lumen? Diameter of the lumen?
Oh shucks, what happened to my bio? =(

So yeah, she injected once, then twice, and then thrice if I'm not mistaken. =( Yeah, so it was kinda like, poke in, pull out, and poke in again. Man, can you feel it! Oh yes, I could I'm telling you..

And yes, till today, it's still kinda blue black. Should have used my left hand man. Guess the blood flows faster and the artery will be much easier to locate right? Oh, I miss bio now. =P

I'll definitely make it a habit to donate at least once a year. Oh, hopefully I'll be able to do that la. =) It totally feels great! =)

No pictures for now though. Sorry bout that. They're in Aubrey's phone. Credits to her. Let's reference it. =P

*assignment-ruled-over*

Mid terms are next week! *gasps!*
Duhhhhhhhh? =P

And I can't wait for our own trips too! I wanna go on a trip too! =(

And I miss my mum now. ='(

*SIGHSSSSSSS*

Mum's gone for a week to China.
You're gone for 3 days to Malacca.

The idk-whether-it's-mood-swing-or-not 'mood swing' is getting to me.

By the way, this is so not an emo post okay? Cause the fact is, I ain't emo a single bit!
=)

Friday, September 10, 2010

i ain't overtly picky!

Well, thank God, we managed to get ourselves tickets for both movies and not too bad seats too. =)

Piranha and Resident Evil.
Okay, embarrassed of me to keep insisting that Piranha is available in 3D too. But hey, it has in 3D too! Just you look at the movie poster la! =P

Oh, well, whatever. =P

Piranha was, um, all I could think of is, GROSS. Not that I was entirely turned off by their gruesomeness *though some parts I sorta was*, but seriously, the whole story seemed to revolve only on the gruesomeness of the attacks of piranhas on humans. And to be honest, I was somewhat a lil bored in the middle of the story. I mean, it's all just fishes chewing off people. Um, yeah, thanks to the sound effects and towards the end of the movie, I did not fall asleep. Not that I will since I've wanted to watch this since, I dunno when. LOL
Anyway, the last part was sorta intriguing though. Thank goodness for that. =P

Um, watch it anyway. LOL

Resident Evil. Okay, it was um, not THAT scary. Wait, what the hell, Resident Evil movies are never scary. I mean, I guess the previous ones were better? Or so I thought. *Had I actually watched the previous installments? LOL* Anyway, the effetcs and computer graphics and whatever you call those were superb! I mean, yeah, I think I'm purely amazed by those effects. And totally love the way they make it seemed so tech-y, you know? Okay, just, really cool technology? Geez, forget that.

So yeah, Alice and another really scene-stealing character, *that's the term they always use right? =P* Claire. =D I know, I know! It's not my name, duhhhhh. But the fact that it's so similar to my name always perks me up. =P Yes, I know, Claire right??? =P

Good that this time, Claire ain't an old woman. Well the last time we watched, Claire was an old lady. Now what movie was that again?

Oh well, forget that. =P

Anyway, she makes a terrific pair with Alice. Oh, girl power. Man, that reminds me, ECS assignment on gender roles? How cool man! Resident Evil is definitely one awesome example! =D

Okay, this totally makes me sound like I'm more into Resident Evil than Piranha. Guess I do, no? =P

So yeah, watch it. Watch them. Watch BOTH! Oh by the way, I have to admit though that for both movies, I felt a lil bored halfway through them too. No joke. Dead right serious. Hmm, I even said that and got, "Resident Evil is like that wan lo." as an answer. Nice. *eye-rolling*

But no regrets though. I watched what I wanted to watch. You know, it just crossed my mind that maybe I could blame it on IMCOMM for being over judgmental on these movies. Duhhhhhhh! =P Or am I, too picky?

Uh-uh, definitely NOT! =P

But they just didn't live up to my expectations! *sounding AWFULLY desperate* =P

Okayyyy, IGNORE ME NOW! *seriously, don't do that. =P*

Claira here, signing off at 2200 hours. *trying to mimic Alice. =P*

some parodies should just not be made

Vampires suck, really suck. Like, seriously? Okay, there were some parts that were kinda funny but not as hilarious as it seemed from the trailer.
Oh well, a disappointment.

Mind you, I'm not a fan of twilight saga for your info. =P It's just, I thought this would be a stomach-cracking movie but turns out, it's not. Good thing I did not waste my money to watch it in cinema.

Psst, I downloaded it. =P

Whatever. Vampire Diaries is still the BEST! =)

when doggie and kitty come together

Like, FINALLY, I went for a movie yesterday. Sunway TGV. Well, my first time going for TGV instead of GSC. I must say,  I was too excited with the movie I barely noticed the difference between these two. But I guess GSC's hall is definitely much bigger and classier. Okay well, that's the difference already ain't it? Duhhhhh =P

See how ah-dorable that doggis? Aww, I wanna rear a dog too! =D I'll include it in my future wish list. Remind me, will you? =P

Cats and Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore! Oh man I tell you, it was plain awesome! =D Yeah well, Disney's animated movie. I ain't childish! =P I just love Disney's movies and hell yeah, I got my bro to watch it with me. HAHA! My treat okay? But popcorn was on him. =P

So basically, it was about the so-called feud between cats and dogs. Well, to be exact, it was more like, between a cat and dogs. It's the cat, Kitte Galore, planning a revenge on dogs, um, and also cats? LOL. What the heck? =P

Anyway, watch it. I'm serious! =D There were one or two teary moments though. Well, at least for me. I'm an active participant you know? *Heck, I'm overpowered by assignments!* Screw that.

Watch it. Really. It's difficult not to like Disney's movies. =D Good thing growing up with Disney huh? XD

Itu itu pigeon sangat the comel you know? Like, seriously! He *I think it's a he* talks sooooooo MUCH! Go watch, go watch! XD *Sounds like I'm promoting this movie. Duhhhhhhh*

Two more movies that I wanna watch before the holidays end and more assignments and EXAMS! Oh gosh. *sigh*

Forget that. Tomorrow, Piranha and hopefully, Resident Evil too! =D

Psst, I've done my IHC assignment! *very very the HYPER!*

I can barely wait till tomorrow!!! =D

not glee

See that un-gLeeful look of Wall-E? I'm having that face for myself now. =(

I'm just so stuck with my assignments man! Mainly IHC assignment. Major SAD face!

*SIGHSSSSSSS*

Someone, anyone? Please relieve me. I have no idea with this now. =((

Have I mentioned? Holidays aren't holidays.

Oh yes, and I still wanna go for movies! Oh gosh, lemme get these load of assignments done as soon as possible and leave at least a couple of days free of assignments for me! It's sem break man! *sigh*

i'm not a movie critic =)

Sundays are always the days that I stay home and do nothing but be in front of my laptop the whole day. Yeah well, pathetic, lifeless, just you name it. But but but, yesterday was slightly different though. Well, um, I was indeed in front of my laptop since morning though but then, it wasn't just Facebook and MSN and Twitter okay? =P

Yup, I watched Angels and Demons. =D
Okay, call me outdated but I just haven't watched it yet! Duhhhh? =P I know, I know, the movie was out last year and I just watched it yesterday. Oops. =P

Well of course I liked it! Mind you, Imma fan of Dan Brown's books okay? And I've read the book already and I've been wanting to watch it since it came out last year. So yeah, Angels and Demons.

But then, I'm sure there were certain parts that were not included in the movie. Like, the one where Langdon boarded *do you call it board?* the chopper with that Camerlengo *no idea how to spell it, but pretty sure it's such =P* where that Camerlengo later parachuted himself off from the chopper and 'landed' at the top of the church while Langdon was somewhere else. Yeah, the story was as such la duh! =P

And also, that bad guy whose name I totally can't recall at all, didn't die like that la! I remembered he died falling off the balcony of the building he was hiding. And Vittoria was taken hostage or kidnapped if you wanna call it that way by that bad guy. But these weren't in the movie! =(

Whatever. It's still pretty much exciting anyway. More to the back parts though.

And seriously, do they actually wear those costumes in um, wait, Rome? Rome right? =P

They always make an awesome pair, don't they? =D
That's Dan Brown. =P

I wouldn't realize how pretty she looks like if not for this picture. Aw! =)

Seriously, watch it. Cause it's Angels and Demons. =P

See! My Sunday is ain't that unproductive after all! =P

the wholesomeness of us

College has been giving me a hectic schedule lately. Yes, all thanks to assignments, assignments and assignments. And here are some updates. =)

On Wednesday, *whistles* awesome night. Like, seriously? Chloe slept overnight at Kye's house. Not that it was a big deal to me or what but well, actually it was. XD Aubrey, Chloe, Kye and me, we went to Connaught's pasar malam. Can't believe Chloe actually made it man! =D
And yeah, I was back home kinda late actually, almost around 11pm I guess? And yeah, we ate a lot. Like, really A LOT! It was kinda like a travel cum food show you know. Since it was Chloe's first time to apparently the Cheras' longest pasar malam, she wanted to taste as much food that can't be found in Ipoh as she could possibly take in. And for me, yes, I discovered something that I like instantly. Oh gosh, it was purple! Duhhhhh? =P Alright, it's actually Tau Fu Far, but it's purple! No joke okay?

Psst, it's because it's flavoured! Yam flavour. =P

Come Thursday; that truly unforgettable day. Or night if you might. Yeah well, we stayed in the campus till 8+ pm man! No joke, again. =P Aubrey was the one who said she wanted to stay back and finish up her IHC assignment due Friday. And since I've not printed it out yet, so I said I would stay back too. And who knows, Ann and Kye were with us too. Well, Candace too as I would have to fetch her back right?

So yeah,  we went to the library, printed our stuff while me tryna help them out a lil. =P
Actually we were kinda done by 7pm or so but the traffic was like, seriously congested man!
Quoted from Kye, "the blue car is still there la!" Yeah, the blue car she saw was still at the same exact spot when she saw it earlier. Gee, so much thanks to citation skills, I just cited what Kye said. LMAO

Well, there were further complications later on. Details not to be talked about though. But yeah, we stayed till after the traffic started to clear up and after certain things were dealt with. And by the time we left college, it was 8+ already. Federal highway, I just wish you would be so kind to me everyday like you did on that night. *innocent smile*

So for that two nights straight, I hadn't any home-cooked dinner. =( Seriously man, the day after that, I actually thought about home-cooked dinner la! Classic. =D

Friday was the last day before the holidays start. Yes, holidays. Our first sem break, for one whole week. As class ended at 10am, we had nothing much to do but went for brunch at Wong Kok and later off to Chloe's hostel. Gosh, I really have enough of Wong Kok already man. 2 days straight of Wong Kok's food, and I've been tired of their food all this while actually. =/

So yeah, after brunch, me and Chloe went back to the library first to return/borrow some books before heading back to her hostel together with Ann. Aubrey was with her friends while Candace was with Aster them. So we went To Chloe's hostel and she packed her stuff.

Later on, Aubrey joined us. We thought Chloe was gonna leave at 2.30pm, but then it got delayed and then we went up to Ann's hostel this time. =P Aubrey said she was tired and wanted to sleep. But then, all of four of us ended up lying on Ann's single bed and talking bout 'stuff'. =D

I like it. Seriously, it was FUN. =)

I guess Aubrey really couldn't tahan our imaginations and possibilities. =P

We should do this more often! =)

Oh yes, have I mentioned we're gonna have one-week holiday starting today? Hmm, but then, holidays aren't holidays at all. We're just always beiong bombarded with all kinds of assignments. And yes, IMCOMM, IHC, ECS each has assignments waiting for us. =/
Not forgetting we still have got Malaysian Studies' report to be done. Awesome.

And I guess my holidays will be spent in Taylor's library. =/ *imagining the coldness in the library*

Assignments, movies. Can I trade one for the other? =P
And I wanna watch Piranha and Cats and Dogs and Vampires Suck and i-dunno-what-other-m0vies! All I know is that I wanna go for movies in the cinema! It's been a long time since I've done that la. =(

So yeah, bless me and wish me luck that I will get done with all the freaking assignments and lemme have a few days for enjoyment. =D

Oh by the way, Old Town's wifi is wayyyy better than Boston's at Leisure Mall. =P
