Often in life, we are pushed to the edge. Pushed towards a point where you feel you are the only one left behind and that no matter how hard you look about, there seems to be nothing firm enough for you to grab hold and lean your weight against it.
Often in life, we are placed in situations where we have to make decisions that we have not made before. Made to choose between one thing or another, without the guidance and advice that for once, you long to receive from someone else.
Often in life, we are by ourselves. They say they will be with you and walk alongside you. But then, it soon turns into an absolution and not a choice for either of us. This journey ahead, it will soon become a path that is meant for our feet to trudge on, not those of others, for they will find the path that truly belongs to them.
It won't be easy, especially since we have become so accustomed to the accompaniment of another. No, it will not be easy. But who says you will not make it through?
When the time has knocked upon your door, walk away with peace from your stronghold. Leave that comfort zone, for what awaits you out there is what will be your life-changing token. A roller-coaster ride that will leave you breathless.
Like I said, it won't be easy. But dare to travel this path.
If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it.
That's what kept me going.
And that's what keeps me going.
